Antares AC Inlet

Antares reviewed the position with regard to inlet sockets and created the AC Inlet system, and now the "AC Inlet2" is a further improvement with better IP rating and 17th edition cable available. It combines: IP66 weatherproof connection when not in use, IP65 protection when in use, a “plug connected” interlock and AC present/ battery charger indicator lamps on the faceplate where the plug goes in.

  • IP 65 protection when in use (requires correct cable). 
  • 20A input current (4.6kW at 230VAC and 2.2kW at 110VAC)
  • "Open flap" detection interlocked with vehicle start circuit/warning lamp
  • 230V and 110VAC version
  • Single sided mounting allows installation into "blind" sections such as  vehicle door pillar
  • Mains present indicator 
  • Optional LED display used in conjunction with Antares UPC charger
  • Extension leads with RCD 
  • DC versions available


The system can be as a stand alone unit or supplied in conjunction with the UPC integrated power charger. 

Correctly installed the AC system is CEN1789:2000 compliant.
